Noah Kahan has been taking the music world by storm this year. The singer-songwriter from Vermont just announced a massive 2024 tour that will take him all over Europe before returning to the US. We here at CashorTrade love to see the much-deserved success of a very talented Vermont native. Let's take a closer look at a bit of his history and preview this big upcoming tour.
First of all, make sure you're pronouncing his name right. It sounds like "con," for the record. While he was born in Vermont, he spent much of his childhood in New Hampshire. Kahan started writing music at a very early age.

Growing up in the aughts, he and his friends were at the forefront of sharing his music online. Through platforms like Soundcloud and YouTube, his music eventually caught the attention of Republic Records. He signed with them at 20 and hasn't looked back.

He deferred his admission to Tulane University to pursue his dream of being a musician. His 2017 single "Young Blood" went viral and the rocket ship blasted off from there.

Fast forward to 2019, and Kahan released his first full length album titled Busyhead. The song "Hurt Somebody" with Grammy-nominated artist Julia Michaels hit the charts in several countries, increasing Kahan's profile to a worldwide one.

Next up for Kahan was his 2020 pandemic-era EP titled Cape Elizabeth. He wrote it in just a week at a friend's house after leaving NYC to head back to Vermont. It stands as a sort of ode-to-New-England, the home he returned to after years of bouncing around the country.

As the entire live music world came to a screeching halt, he focused on his studio output and churned out another full-length album the following year. He released I Was / I Am in June 2021 and hit the road shortly thereafter in support of it.

What is it about Kahan's music that resonates with so many millions of people? For many of his fans, his openness with his own struggles with depression and anxiety and his ability to express them through his music has a lot to do with it. His songs are healing - for him and for the audience.

Last year, Kahan released his third album titled Stick Season. It was his first album to chart and it did so in several countries.

His star continued to rise as he graduated to playing historic venues such as Radio City and Red Rocks. The album was such a hit that he decided to put out a deluxe version with some additional tracks.

Among these is "Dial Drunk" featuring Post Malone. It was a dream come true for Kahan, who used to cover Post Malone's "Congratulations" years ago.

Before his current tour even wrapped up, Kahan went ahead and announced a huge 2024 tour that will take him all over Canada and Europe before he returns to the US. Most of the shows sold out immediately, including two nights at Madison Square Garden and another two at Fenway Park.

We here at CashorTrade are all about real fans getting into the show for face value. That's why we created a new Facebook group called Noah Kahan Tickets for Face Value. Be sure to join the group if you're looking to catch him on this upcoming tour and #EmbracetheFace.
