They say time flies when you're having fun, and that checks out because the month of July just flew by. From the grand finale of Dead & Company tour to the start of Phish tour, it was a busy month to say the least!

The show must go on, though, and the rest of the summer calendar is jam-packed. We love a good list here at CashorTrade, so here are the Top 10 artists and festivals for the end of summer.

Pretty Lights

It's been five long years and the wait is finally over. Pretty Lights is back and ready to take the live music world by storm. The highly anticipated Soundship Spacesystem tour kicks off this weekend with three nights at the Mission Ballroom from 8/4-6 in Denver followed by a trio of shows at the scenic Dillon Amphitheater from 8/10-12.

This epic comeback tour also features 3-night runs in cities across the country from San Francisco to Brooklyn. It wouldn't be a proper summer without some live Phish. Their 7-night run at MSG is winding down with a pair of shows 8/4-5 at the world's most famous arena.

After a few weeks off, the band returns for a 2-night fundraiser for flood recovery efforts in Vermont. Grab your tickets for SPAC on 8/25-26 and help support a great cause (one that fans helped raise over $20,000 for recently).

Last but certainly not least is the annual pilgrimage to Commerce City, CO for four nights at Dick's from 8/31-9/3. You can hide from the inevitable rainstorm by grabbing that 4-day stands pass right now.

Dave Matthews Band

Dave Matthews Band has been on a tear this year and they're resting up before a massive end to their summer tour. The band is heading to California for shows on 8/24 at Yaamava' Resort & Casino in Highland followed by 8/25-26 at FivePoint Amphitheater in Irvine.

Their summer jaunt concludes with an evening in Bend followed by the annual 3-night campout at the Gorge from 9/1-3. This is a bucket-list event that you don't want to miss, so grab your tickets and dust that tent off.

Secret Dreams Festival

How does a weekend of beats, jams, camping, and dinosaurs sound? You're not dreaming - that's what's in store at the Secret Dreams Festival at Legend Valley in Ohio! It's going down soon from 8/16-19.

This festival has a stacked lineup featuring Tipper & Friends, STS9, GRiZ, Lettuce, Papadosio, and much more. Add in late-night shows, yoga & workshops, and live painters, and you've got a can't-miss summer event.

Umphrey's McGee

For 25 years, Umphrey's McGee has been melting faces with their improvisational rock. They're celebrating this momentous anniversary in style, and the party rolls on throughout August and September.

You have your chance to "Rage. Rest. Repeat." with UM on the east coast, down south, and out in Colorado. Highlights include two nights at Salvage Station in Ashevilleon 8/25-26 as well as a 3-night run at the incredible Mishawaka Amphitheatre from 9/7-9. Turn it up to 11 and get your tickets now.

Outlaw Music Festival

Willie Nelson recently celebrated his 90th birthday and the country legend is back at it with the 2023 edition of his Outlaw Music Festival. This is the largest version of the festival to date and the lineup is absolutely stacked! The tour is currently underway and runs until 8/13. It resumes a few weeks later and goes from 9/8-10/15.

For the remainder of the tour, you can catch the Avett Brothers, Bob Weir & Wolf Bros, String Cheese Incident, Tedeschi Trucks Band, and Gov't Mule, for starters. All hail the mighty Boognish - Ween is back on tour! They're painting the town brown from Red Rocks on 8/3 all the way to the Rooftop at Pier 17 in New York City on 9/14 with plenty of stops in betWEEN.

All In Music Festival

The pick of destiny is heading to Indianapolis this summer, as the All In Music & Arts Festival returns with a rare headlining performance from Tenacious D. They're joined by Trey Anastasio & Classic TAB, Cory Wong, Joe Russo's Almost Dead, Trombone Shorty, and lots more.

This festival goes from 9/9-10 and features the best of both worlds as you get both an outdoor and an indoor stage. Go from the festival vibe of the lawn to the arena rock feel and then back again. It's sure to be a rockin' weekend in Indy so grab your passes and join the fun.

Greensky Bluegrass

There's just something about kicking up dust to live bluegrass in the summer. The fellas at Greensky Bluegrass are headed out west in August and September for what's sure to be a foot stompin' good time.

You can catch them in Colorado, Montana, Wyoming, Oregon, and Washington over the next several weeks. Don't "Miss September" and make sure to snag tickets for their in-demand shows in Dillon from 9/13-14 and at Red Rocks to follow 9/15-16.

Joe Russo's Almost Dead

No summer live music schedule is complete without some good ole' Grateful Dead. Joe Russo's Almost Dead (or JRAD as most know them) are the nation's premiere Dead tribute act. They have a handful of August shows where you can shake your bones to somve live Dead.

Joe Russo leads his all-star band to New Hampshire and Maine during the Days Between on 8/5-6 before a stop in North Carolina at Roanoke Island Festival Park on 8/10. From there they keep on truckin' to Atlantic City, Boston, and Vermont from 8/11-13. The music never stopped!
