The leaves are changing colors and the smell of pumpkin spice is in the air. That can mean only one thing - spooky season is here! We love this time of year at CashorTrade, as many of our favorite bands are gearing up to celebrate Halloween with shows all over the country.

If you've got your costume picked out but haven't made plans yet, you've come to the right place. In this post, we're taking a look at the Top 13 Spooky Shows for Halloween. Let's start with the biggest party of them all...

Hulaween

Hulaween-2018This year is a major milestone for Hulaween. The legendary festival is celebrating its 10th anniversary, and it's doing so in style!

In addition to perennial headliners String Cheese Incident, they're pulling out all the stops this year with the headliners. Pretty Lights, Trey Anastasio Band, and Goose sit atop a lineup that is absolutely stacked.

Beyond the amazing music, Hulaween is the perfect vibe for spooky season. The entire grounds at the Spirit of the Suwannee transform into an eerie adult playground, with performance artists and costumed revelers adding to the fun.

It's all going down October 26-29 (with options for early arrival if you really want to send it). Don't miss out and check out all the awesome deals on CashorTrade. This is a fest where going VIP is 100% worth it.

Billy Strings

Billy-Strings-Asheville

After celebrating Halloween in Asheville the past two years, BMFS is returning home to the Mitten this year. He and the boys are playing Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids on October 31, right down the road from where he grew up in Muir, MI.

Expectations are high after last year's 3-night "Away from the Shire" festivities, complete with a cello-playing Gollum. What will Billy and his team come up with this year? We're not sure but we know it's going to be special and full of surprises.

Not surprisingly, this is a hot ticket and it's super sold out. Be sure to set your alerts on CoT so you get tickets in your bag this Halloween and not a rock.

Bob Weir & Wolf Bros

Bob-Weir-Wolf-Bros-Logo What would Halloween weekend be without a little Grateful Dead? Bob Weir & Wolf Bros are throwing quite the party this year as they're bringing the Stanford Symphony Orchestra along for a show at Frost Amphitheater on October 29.

This definitely won't be your average night at the symphony, as costumed California Deadheads descend upon the theater to howl at the moon together. We're calling a "Werewolves of London" with a string section and that's a Halloween moment you won't wanna miss!

Widespread Panic

WSP-Halloween

You can't spell Halloween without WSMFP. They've had some legendary Halloween shows over the years, and they're bringing the party back to the Enmarket Arena in Savannah for the 2nd year in a row on October 27-28.

Last year the band had fans wondering if they were sleepwalking as they played a dream-themed show with a creative setlist. You never know what's going to happen at a Panic Halloween run, so grab your tickets and come out for what's sure to be a good time.

U2

sphere-las-vegas Live music fans everywhere are buzzing about what's in store for the brand-new Sphere in Las Vegas. This state-of-the-art venue cost $2 billion to build and the excitement level is high for its grand opening. Who better to open such a venue than the lads from Ireland in U2?

They're only one of the most legendary bands in rock & roll history... While this won't really be a Halloween show, per say, the band does have gigs on October 27, 28, and November 1, and we all know Vegas is one of the best places to celebrate the holiday.

Plus, you can rub it in to your Phish fan friends and brag about seeing one of the first shows at the Sphere!

Tool

Not only is Tool back on the road for a full tour, but they're actually playing a show on October 31 in St. Paul, MN. Even though the costume of choice will likely still be a black t-shirt, this is quite the live music occasion to celebrate.

Their last tour in support of 2020's Fear Innoculum got rave reviews, and there's no doubt the band will bring their impressive stage production along with their unique blend of heavy metal and psychedelia.

The Disco Biscuits

Biscuits-ATL

Setbreak is over and the Disco Biscuits are tearing it up from coast to coast. A few weeks after throwing their inaugural Biscoland festival, the band rolls into Port Chester for a pair of Halloween weekend shows at the Capitol Theatre on October 27-28.

While they typically eschew the typical Halloween gig full with themes and lots of covers, they will most definitely bring the untz full-throttle for four sets of pure Bisco bliss. Plus the lights at the Cap are always on point and plenty of fans will surely dress up for the occasion.

Boygenius

One of the most talked about super groups is back on tour and it's all leading up to what's sure to be an incredible night at the Hollywood Bowl on October 31. After playing a huge show at MSG on 10/2, they're releasing their new EP "The Rest" on Friday the 13th.

All signs are pointing towards something special spooky on All Hallow's Eve in Hollywood. This should be a show that fans talk about for years to come, so grab your tickets and come out to see what Phoebe, Julien, and Lucy have up their sleeves.

Pigeons Playing Ping Pong/Dogs in a Pile

Pigeons-Asheville

Down in Austin, it's looking like Halloween is going to be for the animals. That's because Pigeons Playing Ping Pong are bringing their friends Dogs in a Pile along for a double whammy of a show at the Scoot Inn on October 31.

Both bands are known for their open-ended jams and their creative setlists, so who knows what they'll come up with. Maybe the Pigeons guys will dress up like dogs and the Dogs guys will dress up as Pigeons? Whatever happens, they're gonna put the FUN in funk on Halloween.

From there, Jacket heads south for shows in Birmingham on October 30 and New Orleans on October 31. Let the good times roll in the city of voodoo this Halloween! Where else can you go on a ghost tour before rocking out with MMJ??

Les Claypool

Les-Claypool-SCampPerhaps there's no better place to celebrate this creepy and spooky holiday than with Les Claypool and his Fearless Flying Frog Brigade. Their Hunt for Green October tour takes the band from Hulaween to Charlotte on October 29 and then up to Cincinnati on October 30.

It culminates with a show at the historic Ryman Auditorium in Nashville on October 31. Who knows what whacky shenanigans the Colonel will come up with to celebrate a pagan holiday at the Mother Church of Country Music. One thing's for sure - there won't be a dull moment at this show!
